    Richard has been teaching guitar since 1968. He received his BA from Rollins College and his AA from Miami-Dade Community College. While at the University of Miami he studied Classical Guitar under Mario Escochando and studied Jazz Guitar under Parke Hill. He has played with The Summits, The Novas, The Brass Revolution, Nick Russo and Gabriel's Brass, The Aristocat Band (Walt Disney World), Richard and Pickering, Scatman Crothers, Barbara Eden, Fabian, Rod McEuen, Mel Torme, Wayne Cochrane, Anita Bryant, Sterling Holloway, and The Spinners. He has also performed all over the Southeast including Walt Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Underground Atlanta, The Mike Douglas Show, Church Street Station - Apple Annie's - Rosie O'Grady's (Orlando), Seville Quarter - Rosie O'Grady's (Pensacola), Amelia Island Plantation, Winter Park Art Festivals and the Sunshine Music Hall (WMFE-PBS). Richard continues to work hard as a musician and has composed over 650 songs and produced over 150 recordings.
