Matt Farrington has been performing, writing and teaching music for over 20 years. At the Universtiy of Central Florida, he studied Music Education and French Horn Performance. He also studied Jazz Theory and Jazz Improvisation. During this time he studied with John Almeida, Arnold Mascaro, Gene Berger and Scott Wilson. His performance experience has included Walt Disney World, international recording artist André Caram, local area orchestras, churches and schools and many more. While being a classically trained French Hornist, Matt has always sought out new and unique opportunities for the horn including Jazz, Rock and Pop. He is currently collaborating on French Horn with a metal ensemble on an album due to be released the end of summer 2011 with international distribution. In addition to his performance experience, Matt has worked as a writer/arranger of marching band music and drill, as a clinician for marching and brass techniques and as a private instructor on French Horn. Matt Farrington is currently the General Manager at Garden Music School.
